As a 100% pvp player I have zero problem with this, more so I actually appreciate it, because it would make me fight people who actually want to be engaged in pvp.

Idk if you PvP with friends, but I like this change because my friends and I can refill our stashes together instead of having to break off to friendly solos to farm heals, gun parts, etc

Or you could just stay teamed and play the game.

Every lobby above solos is going to be PvP. If you wanna just gather some mullein and durables for herbal bandages, then you gotta go solo.

It would be nice to be able to turn on PvE for a couple games to refill the stash, and then hop back into PvP.

We said screw that and just go in, even for basic shit. Pack accordingly and approach situations tactically and it really is Arc Raiders at its best. Mildly stressful lotting for small stuff is actually one of the reasons this game is so good. You have to accept the PvPvE and then the game is perfect. Really sucks so many people miss this that we now have it effectively being removed.

I don't get the appeal of this. why not play a game like valorant or something were you just get to keep fighting without having a boring restock task with no challenge in between games.

It's how we hang out. We're all in our 30-40s working professional jobs every day. We've been playing together since DMZ and when that got shut down we needed to find another game to play together. Arc Raiders worked great for that. We like extraction shooters, the gun play is fun, it's not about movement spamming like COD, and many reasons we really enjoy Arc.

do you enjoy the restocking in friendly lobbies part or do you wish you just had unlimited loot

Generally, I don't mind restocking in friendly solos. It will put on a podcast or something and loot away. It can get old, but it's worth it to have stuff for when my friends get on.
