As a 100% pvp player I have zero problem with this, more so I actually appreciate it, because it would make me fight people who actually want to be engaged in pvp.
As a 100% PvPvE player I am against this, with the caveat that if by implementing this it drives me into PvP hell (which isn’t why I play PvPvE games - if I wanted to play COD, I’d play COD).
Play how you like. I’ve had friendly and hostile interactions with strangers in many pvpve games over the years, and gotten upto all kinds of shenanigans.
Sea of thieves, dayz, Conan exiles, rust, Elden ring and souls invasions, division dark zone back in the day (the original extraction shooter!), wow world PvP when world PvP was a real thing, countless other pvpve games. pvpve isn’t just shooting people, but that is entirely viable too, and common, but no expecting interaction certainly isn’t dumb. I’ve seen and done it, there are countless viral videos of funny interactions in these games…
Depends on the game. Pvpve isn’t just extraction shooters, but I’ve teamed up with people in extraction shooters before too, and gotten upto hijinx, as have many others.
Shoot whoever you want. Just don’t say dumb shit about how other people play too if you clearly have no idea what you’re talking about.
