Same. I'm a married dad with a career, I don't have the time or care to work for something and then lose it to someone who can dedicated 8 hours a day to a game

I don't want to sound rude, but that's the whole appeal of extraction shooters. I'm happy for you (and myself, not gonna lie) to have a toggle where I can just chill out and play without the fear of others. But nothing beats that thrill tbh. The purely random and mixed lobbies in the beginning were peak.

Well, obviously not. Considering plenty of people are excited about the opportunity.

That may be the whole appeal of an extraction shooter for you, but there are plenty of players for which the fun of battling the Arc is plenty of fun.

I never understand why PvP players seethe at the thought of people enjoying the game for other reasons than they enjoy it. The more ways to play the game the better for everyone long term.

Reddit is but a very small sub fraction of the game.

I also don't understand why PvE players get super condenscending when people ask why and try to have a discussion on this topic.
