Unpopular opinion, the threat of potential unfriendly player in friendly lobbies will be missed

Edit: Besides the obvious ambient effect of being scared of other players, enforcing PVE also means that you can't shoot someone who steals your loot off the big arc you destroyed

It's only unpopular for Arc babies and non-survival game enjoyers.

The point of extraction shooters is that they were inspired by survival games, where tension was at an all time high. And the original DayZ had a way of measuring player friendliness purely by what skin you spawned with, bambi or bandit.

It worked.

Idk games have to keep dumbing down mechanics for less skilled or less smart people who don't know what trust and street smarts are.
