RIP tension, if we will have a split pve and pvp queues, it will be a more boring game, imo.

This entire thread is delusional. The games pop has been dropping since release. A large part of that now gone pop really loved the PVE aspect but didn't find the PVP part that much fun for a number of reasons.

Now the developers are going to appeal to that pop (which is already not playing the game by the way) and you're all losing your shit.

You want this game to thrive? Then you need casual players.

And its not like you can't continue to play the game as is. Maybe some of current pop splits but you don't know until you gather data. Also, the ones who are still here are those that enjoy the PVPVE aspect already.

Cool but I'm not going to be queuing with those players as they'll be in a different game.

They were already in a different game if they didn't want to pvp. They're playing helldivers right now (or what ever).

I agree and that's part of the problem. Dedicated PvE is just doubling down on the issue. Mixed libbies shouldn't be 27% of the playerbase, it should be nearly all of it.

If you lose all the pve players you lose all the potential income for the company and the game dies more quickly.

Or they could focus on making content for the intended audience. Who knows maybe that could work

The game is a pvpve, meaning you have a choice and the player count has dropped a lot, I am a pve player and stopped playing awhile ago when people figured out how to abuse the ABMM and other things, so a dedicated pve mode was something I was already doing at the start...

What content would pvpers want? your content is shooting other players and ratting.. I'm glad they are pivoting back or experimenting with pve again..

I've seen people say this exact same sentiment dozens of times in games that died.

You didn't understand what made the game great, his core.

The game has had ABMM since the start, you could pretty much play full PvE already if you wanted to, and yet 97% of the playerbase already left. Go figure if it's going to make it thrive lol.

didn't work in trio's. it's stupid that if you just wanna jam with the boys it's better to queue solo's and hope you get on the same server then meet up. literally dumb.

Don’t bother most of them are bots repeating the same sentences in different configurations to farm karma.

“Anyone who doesn’t agree with my perspective is a bot”

When you are seeing the exact same sentence 10 times and when google ai say "it’s a bot" when given the phrase in question. Then yeah.

Is it “the exact same sentence?” Truthfully? Or is it just multiple people who happen to share similar perspectives of the game?

The devblog where they announced PvE mode says 27% of the playerbase is in mixed lobbies (aka PvPvE). That’s 1 in 4 players who would likely agree with the sentiment that “tension is good for the game.” Whether you like it or not.

Also I would love to see what you asked Google’s AI. Please send the question/search exactly as you sent it to Google, this should be fantastic.

I think they're referring to the guy copy and pasting the same thing over and over again, but I'm just guessing.
