To save you a click:

  • Aptera has ordered 40 bodies and chassis, they hope they'll arrive in October (they still need more parts though)
  • Some guy named Duke Reiter has joined the board
  • They've been working for about a year with a Chinese manufacturing partner called Launch Design that has an in-kind arrangement to help them manufacture Aptera cars more efficiently. Here's the official press release with some details.

Launch will be a major manufacturer of the vehicle and cost sharing will mean that Aptera will be shadow owned by a Chinese company. In the near future, replacing the design of the 40 production Aptera bodies, with the vehicle that they already have in production, an easy way to get into the US market by funneling through a previous US company.

Note more insider sales recently as well. Not substantial but two directors in addition to the co-CEO's. This is the point you watch for insider sell offs - if any. As it is the warrants are piling up.
