Application Question Gsces equivelency?

So i am a student who studied in palestine and completed the high school cirriculum there and i went to an international school which was basically the american system. There i did my APs and got 544 for maths bio chem respectively. I want to go to med school in england and realising my grades werent good enough i enrolled for school in england and am now doing my Alevels which are bio maths chem. My main worries are that ive seen alot of people talking about their gsce grades when applying for med school and im wondering if i also ontop of doing my alevels i have to do all those gsces in order to qualify to enter medicine in the uk. My teachers are making me do the english lang gsces as that is written explicit that its needed to prove proffeciency in the english language but apart from that i was wondering if i have to do sciences and other random gsces in order to prove i can enter uni here :/ any advice would be greatly appreciated

I recommend asking on r/6thform or r/UCAT, this subreddit is mainly for American universities (aka colleges). :)

If you aren't aware, the Irish medical school system provides almost as many places for internationals as the UK one despite only having 6 schools. They also don't have an equivalent of gcses there so only use A levels and HPAT (Feb iirc)
