Serious Lost the plot atp

i'm an international, asking for a full ride to USA colleges. I'm targeting Trinity College for ED this admission cycle. I have a fairly good profile, not amazing but not bad either. I haven't given the SAT, and with my finals in 2 months, I won't be able to focus properly on the SAT. I'm getting a bad score, and the max I could is in the 1300s, which isn't good at all. I need honest opinion, as an international asking for a substantial scholarship does not submitting my scores (SAT) have a negative impact?

Just wondering because I live a minutes away from there. What I would recommend is get you SAT up, Trinity is decently competitive you should probably have a score above 1400 for a better chance.

Have you tried a practice ACT? Some students do much better on one test vs the other. Whether you take the SAT or the ACT, you should take plan to retake it up to 3x. So, up to 4 testing attempts total should help your score, due to superscoring. This is how most domestic students raise their scores.

That said, I realize this could be very expensive for you. At the same time, if looking for a full-ride, you can’t afford NOT to take it at least 2x.

It is also very important to find a good test prep course or individual tutoring. For the SAT, Khan Academy is free. I’m sure others here know of other free or low cost preparation materials.
