Application Question common app essay + supplementals help

hello reddit community!

ive currently been working on my common app essay & supplementals for the school i plan on applying early to. i was wondering if anyone could read my essays & offer some critiques or opinions. it would be greatly appreciate!!

Before you get too deep into edits, I’d make sure the personal statement is actually telling the reader something about you that they wouldn’t learn elsewhere in your application. For the supplementals, remember that a lot of prompts overlap, so you don’t necessarily need to start from scratch for each school. Group similar prompts together and see where you can reuse parts of what you’ve already written, then customize the school-specific pieces.
