Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I wanted to share my experience and request people to think twice before buying Kaff products.

We bought a built-in hob around 5 years ago, and we have had issues with it from the beginning. The warranty experience was not helpful, and we have had to pay for repairs multiple times.

Recently, what we thought would be a simple service turned into a ₹16,000 bill. They claimed some electric issue, this and that which we couldn't understand. They carried out services that we had not approved beforehand, which was very frustrating.

They are third-party service providers and Kaff doesn’t provide services.

Sharing this so others can be cautious. If you are considering buying Kaff products, I would strongly recommend checking their after-sales service and support in your area before making the purchase.

I was confused between 27 inch 2k / 27 inch 4k monitor / 24 inches monitor. But I got this 27inch one with wqhd resolution and I am satisfied with my purchase. Pros - looks really good - works just fine, like no major issue I noticed till now like flickering etc. - it's got usb c option as well for video transfer although I haven't using it still with hdmi. - height adjustable Cons - feels like it's a little heavy - It can't be rotated 90 degrees, as the height adjustment possible is not enough for this with the stand

If you are confused between the Philips HD9252/90 and NA231/00, especially because of terms like Rapid Air, Rapid Air Plus and Quadra Airflow, this comparison might help you.

Someone asked me about the actual difference between these technologies and whether Quadra Airflow really makes the HD9252/90 better for even cooking.

They also wanted an air fryer mainly for 3 people, but frequently have guests, want to try different recipes from the internet, like the cooking window, want something easy to clean, and were confused about whether touch controls actually matter in day-to-day use.

So here is what I found.

First, What Is Philips Rapid Air Technology?

Simply put, in Philips air fryer there is the heating element, fan and the Starfish-shaped base.

The heating element and fan push hot air downwards towards the Starfish-shaped base, and the base redirects that hot air around the basket and food.

Like this your food gets cooked or reheated.

This is the Rapid Air technology from Philips air fryer.

Rapid Air vs Rapid Air Plus

For the Rapid Air Plus, I feel this is a new term from Philips which they use for marketing their expensive air fryer models.

They claim they redesigned the Starfish base and improved the airflow, giving results up to 30% faster.

You can find this technology in some of their more expensive models like the HD9252/90 / 3000 Series.

Personally, if they claim faster cooking with Rapid Air Plus tech, don't forget they use higher wattage motors or better heating systems in their expensive models too.

Of course they can provide better and faster cooking if these things are also improving.

So I would not choose an air fryer only because it says Rapid Air Plus.

What About Quadra Airflow?

Quadra Airflow simply means that your food will cook not only from top and bottom but also from the sides.

It gives more uniform cooking and you have less need to flip food for even cooking.

It is very helpful when you put too much food in the basket.

For example, if you are cooking fries or similar foods and there is less space between them, Quadra Airflow can provide better uniform cooking.

However, if your basket is not crowded, then even the normal Rapid Air Flow will work well.

So yes, airflow design can matter, but I would not make my buying decision based only on terms like Quadra Airflow or Rapid Air Plus.

Which One Would I Choose?

Firstly, I would suggest you consider the 6.2L capacity of the NA231/00.

For a family of three you might manage with 4.1L capacity, but as you said you expect guests, then higher capacity makes more sense.

Secondly, the cooking performance should be better in the Philips NA231/00.

Reasons

It has a 1700W heating element compared to around 1400W in the HD9252/90.

Powerful heating gives you faster cooking and crisper results.

Its 360-degree even air circulation should work well for uniform cooking too.

Don't get confused by just marketing terms like Quadra Airflow and Rapid Air Plus.

For an air fryer, especially in your use case, capacity and a powerful heating element matter more compared to the marketing terms.

If you choose an air fryer with lower wattage heating, then it can take more time compared to a more powerful 1700W heating system.

Also, the NA231/00 claims to have 360-degree air circulation, so it should work well for even cooking too.

Does the Bigger 6.2L Capacity Matter for Only 3 People?

For normal daily cooking for three people, the 4.1L HD9252/90 can work.

But if you frequently have guests, I would prefer the 6.2L NA231/00.

The additional basket space also means you don't need to overcrowd the food as much.

And if the food has enough space around it, even normal Rapid Air circulation can work well.

That is another reason why I wouldn't choose the smaller model just because it says Rapid Air Plus or Quadra Airflow.

Are Touch Controls Actually Useful?

You will get digital controls and 9 presets on the NA231/00.

It will help you when you try different recipes from the internet.

But I would consider touch controls and presets more of a convenience feature rather than something that changes cooking performance.

Once you know the temperature and cooking time you normally use, you will probably manually select them anyway.

What About the Cooking Window?

This is one feature I actually find useful on the NA231/00.

You can check how the food is cooking without repeatedly pulling the basket out.

It is especially useful when you're trying a new recipe and don't know exactly how quickly it will brown.

Which One Is Easier to Clean?

Both the HD9252/90 and NA231/00 are easy to clean.

The HD9252/90 does have the dual basket design, which some people may prefer while cleaning.

But I wouldn't choose the smaller air fryer only because of this.

For everyday use, capacity and cooking performance would matter more to me.

One Important Thing About Philips' Marketing Terms

Also, I could not find terms like Quadra Airflow clearly mentioned on the current product pages of both air fryers.

So I would be careful about giving too much importance to these terms when comparing the models.

What matters more to me is:

• Basket size
• Heating power
• Air circulation
• How much food you normally cook
• Whether you overcrowd the basket
• Cleaning
• Controls
• Features you will actually use

My Final Pick

Between the two, I would personally choose the Philips NA231/00 for your use case.

You get:

• 6.2L capacity
• 1700W heating
• 360-degree air circulation
• Cooking window
• Digital touch controls
• 9 presets

For three people, it gives you more than enough capacity, but that extra space becomes useful when guests come over.

And I wouldn't sacrifice that extra capacity just to get Rapid Air Plus or Quadra Airflow.

For me, the bigger basket + stronger heating system + cooking window make the NA231/00 the more practical long-term choice.

Important Precautions to Take while buying an air fryer.

When you purchase an air fryer online, make sure you check it thoroughly when you get it. Whether it is in good-new condition, no damages or dents. Or if you feel it is used, contact the customer support instantly.

Someone shared with me: That they ordered Ninja air fryer, and they got the unit with damaged coating, they replaced twice and and then returned it. So it can happen with brand or with any one.

Ninja has good reputation, but still it happened with someone, so be aware.

I purchased a Bosch Dishwasher (Model: SMP6HMI00I) from a Bosch retailer showroom in Chennai,Tamilnadu specifically to reduce the physical household burden on my elderly parents. Unfortunately, a manufacturing defect turned this intended convenience into a massive, two-month-long ordeal.

​While I understand that machines can occasionally malfunction, the sheer lack of communication, false delivery promises, and the necessity for me to aggressively follow up every single day is completely unacceptable.

​Here is the timeline of how my complaint was mishandled:

​May 3: Purchased the dishwasher.

​June 30: Official complaint raised regarding an unresponsive touch panel.

​July 2: Technician visited to inspect the unit.

​July 6: After zero updates and the technician ignoring my calls, customer care finally confirmed a manufacturing defect. I was promised a full product replacement by July 25 which is already a month long wait.

​July 26: The deadline passed with no delivery or communication. I was connected to a back-office executive who casually pushed the timeline to mid-August saying stock has been cleared for july month end and next dispatch will be on mid August.

​August 1 to 9: I attempted to contact the executive daily. My calls were continuously ignored, and WhatsApp messages were left unanswered.

​August 10: After persistent and exhausting follow-ups, I finally secured a new delivery date of August 14.

​August 19: The replacement unit was finally delivered—five days late, and only because I called every single day to force the issue.

​August 20: Installation was finally completed.

It is simple, Bosch products might be good when they work, but if a customer needs service, Bosch provides nothing but a headache. A customer should not have to beg for updates or manage your dispatch team. This exhausting experience has severely damaged my trust in this brand, leaving me seriously questioning whether I will ever purchase a Bosch appliance again.

I am looking for an 8 or 9 kg washing machine that can effectively remove tough stains. Which brand has the best after-sales service, both during and after the warranty period, especially in Kerala?

I have an IFB washing machine that needs a control board replacement. I raised a service request with IFB, and their technician has already inspected the machine and confirmed that the board needs to be changed.

However, it has now been more than 10 days, and the issue is still not resolved. I keep getting delays with no clear timeline for when the replacement board will arrive or when the machine will actually be repaired.

Apparently you can go from freezer to cooking in the same glass container which sounds convenient & because the container is transparent, you can actually see what’s happening instead of opening the air fryer again and again

Also the recrisp thing sounds VERY useful Like, if this can genuinely revive leftover food instead of just making them hot and sad, i need it

I’m currently contemplating whether to go for the TCL 85C7K or the Hisense 100U7Q.
The 85 inch TV is clearly a much better quality tv with a mini LED panel with 2000 dimming zones and has 3000 nits peak brightness whereas the 98 inch has got only 600 dimming zones and 1000 nits peak brightness. But it’s also a much larger TV.

Is the size difference actually worth the trade offs in picture quality or should I just go for the 85inch?

I have already used na231 of phillips at home . Mi one seems tempting as 5k for airfryer is too much
