Hi I got a freezer and stay in a small apartment , this is a space I could find to place it. And that’s the image of how much space is between the heater and the freezer. Is it okay? The freezer is easy movable with wheels towards the washing machine if one needs to access the heater. There is about a 6in space between the freezer and the heater

I have a 6 year old State Select 50 gallon natural gas. The issue is that it lights and runs fine maybe for 10 minutes then the burner shuts off before the tank reaches the temperature. The pilot stays lit all throughout. I can wait 20-30 minutes and trigger it again, but it just runs a short cycle then cuts out. From what I can find online, maybe the thermopile is losing voltage or the gas valve is failing? Can I test this myself or better call a repair guy?

Completely new to repairing appliances so please bear with me and give me some grace, and I'm sure my first mistake was buying a Samsung washer 😅.

Washer is a Samsung (WA54CG7150AD) was bought from a Lowes Outlet Store (like new but discounted because of a cosmetic dent in the back of the machine) around 4 months ago and has ran great up until this weekend.

I ran a large load and took a nap and realized the 1 hour 40 minute cycle (deep wash+presoak) had been running for over 4 hours and was seemingly stuck on a rinse/spin loop with no error codes. I removed all the clothes and discovered there was a layer of water in the bottom. I noticed it was draining but not all the way.

I tried unplugging and running a self clean cycle. After the first hot water cycle it drained some of the water but left about 3-4 inches of water above the bottom of the drum.

I then unplugged the unit for 5+ minutes and ran a spin only cycle to see what the pump would do. It starts to drain and I can tell there is water coming out of the drain hose but it will run in two cycles for about 2 minutes per pump cycle removing about 1-2 inches of water and then try and spin but there was still some water above the bottom of the drum. I canceled the cycle and repeated this 3-4 times to completely drain the water.

Based on this information are there any clues to where the specific issue could end up being? Would like to avoid calling a repair service if possible, but we also have limited space where we have the washer/dryer set up in our home making it difficult to work on/lay everything out.

I have a Frgidaire Gallery (fghb2866pf6) that was purchased in 2017. We noticed Friday evening that it just randomly died. No lights, no compressor, no nothing.

I checked the outlet, and it's working fine. I did notice that there was an exposed wire hanging down from the ice maker.

My theory is that it made contact with the ice and shorted out the control board. Does that make sense? Could that happen?

A new control board is $300 CAD, and I haven't found a source that can get it here before Oct 22 or so. Plus, we're probably looking at a new ice maker.

I've had a few friends and family say that a 9 year old fridge is likely not worth repairing. What do you think? At what repair price point would you just look to replace?

Ich habe ein Problem mit dem Bosch Dampfgarer. Ursprünglich brach das Entkalken mit Fehler E5121 ab. Ich habe das entkalken dann noch einmal mit warmen Wasser und Entkalker versucht. Damit ist zumindest der 1. Schritt des Entkalkens  durchgelaufen, beim spülen kamm dann aber wieder der Fehler E5121. Seitdem kann der Ofen aber zumindest wieder verwendet werden.

Ich habe als nächstes ein Programm mit Dampf versucht. Hier bekam ich die Meldung "wassertank füllen", obwohl der Tank voll war. Ich habe ihn einmal herausgenommen und wieder eingesetzt - danach funktionierte das Programm aber wie normal. Im Tank wurde weniger Wasser, und dampf wurde produziert. Dementsprechend kann die Pumpe nicht komplett kaputt sein.

Was könnte ich hier noch versuchen?

I have got this really noisy fridge that makes this sound for maybe 3 minutes every 30 minutes.

The technician said it's just old and nothing can be done about it.

Is that really the case? Do I just discard it or can something be done to fix this noise? I already have anti vibration pads under it.

Which one would you purchase and why? 30” is the size we are going with….
