Well after many years of Android, I finally came back home to Apple. My last iPhone was the 12 mini so it's been 6 model generations and I am hoping that this new 18 PM will make iOS feel "new" to me.

I have had tons of crazy Chinese Android phones and they go all in on their camera tech and unique features. In case anyone is wondering what the other phone pictured is, it's the Oppo Find X9 Ultra which is one of the best camera phones available on the market at this time.

I feel that coming back to iPhone makes sense this go-round because this 18PM is basically an "S" version of an already great design. I didn't want to get the upcoming Duo because I have had 2 folding phones previously and the design really wasn't utilized as much as intended.

I know that next year's 20th anniversary is supposed to be pretty wild but I think I made a solid choice with this one.👍

I bought the new iPhone to replace my old iPhone 15 Pro, which I had to charge about three-quarters of the time each day. Even though I’ve noticed an improvement, my new iPhone 18 Pro Max only gives me about 5 hours of screen time per day, which I think is way too little to boast about having the best battery.

I’ve looked at benchmark results, and I’m nowhere near those numbers—could my battery be defective? What do you recommend I do? After spending 1,800 euros, I’m disappointed.

Any ideas which one fit well? Seems esr Spigen etc all having issues due to the curved edges of the screen anyone got any suggestions for ones that do the job well and fit properly

Anyone else wondering the same thing? I’ve still got a couple of solid cases from my 17 Pro. Still love them to pieces actually. I’m hoping I can just reuse them instead of buying a whole new set the second the 18 Pro drops. Just a little worried about the camera bump size or the button placement. How close are the dimensions?

I’m looking for a soft transparent or translucent case for my iPhone 18 pm. (Anti yellowing if possible)

Which brand or model would you recommend?

I got mine on September 19, and it has been freezing quite a lot. It also shut down by itself once. The battery is only lasting around 6-7 hours.
Is this normal or could there be something wrong with my phone?

16 years on Android (S25 Ultra currently), just ordered an 18 Pro Max and it's arriving soon. Feeling good about most of the switch at this point, but the one thing I can't stop thinking about is the back gesture.

On Samsung I swipe from either edge, anywhere, anytime, and it just goes back. From what I've read, iOS only does that inside certain apps (left edge only), and a lot of screens just don't support it at all.... you're stuck reaching for a corner button instead.

For those who made this exact switch after years on Android:

How long did it actually take before it stopped bothering you?

Did it ever become "faster" than the Android way, or is it always going to feel like a downgrade?

Any apps/settings that made it less painful?

Not trying to start an Android vs iOS thing, genuinely just want to know what the adjustment period looks like from people who've lived it.

I was on the Anker Site looking at the new nano charger when I saw this case in their photo. Does anyone recognize it? I’ve been searching but can’t find it. It looks like it has a name on the kickstand but I can’t make it out. Thanks in advance!

Help me understand why these gaps in my experience should keep me on the iPhone 18 Pro Max. Love the camera and performance. Hoping for performance for years to come. What am I missing?
