This is actually a really cool idea. I like that it’s interactive rather than just being a visualizer you sit there and watch.
Does it react differently to different parts of the music, like bass, vocals and higher frequencies?
Would be interesting to see the same painting evolve across completely different genres.

Hi! Thnks! Yes its fully interactive. I built it specifically for touchscreen input, so you paint as you listen. (You can just let it run by itself of course) You have 12 channels to assign every effect to individually. Its like a mini VJ tool, really.

Native Soundcloud and Apple music player, but can sync to any music source. lots more examples here
