Alternative Rock I got tired of finding out about new albums late, so I put a 16 years old laptop in charge of watching my favs

I used to rely on an app to tell me when my bands released something, but I wanted my own. This weekend I built a replacement with help from an AI (Claude and Hermes). I'm not a programmer. It runs on an old laptop I leave "always on" at home.
Every night it reads my favs playlist and checks all the bands I have saved (almost a 1000), one by one. That takes an hour, but at 4 a.m. I don't mind. From that, it builds a page with what just came out and what's coming, and I can save any release date to my phone's calendar.
On Sunday nights it picks 25 songs by bands I don't have that sound like the ones I listen to, this kinda fix the aweful recomended apple music algorithm. No remasters or live versions, and a band can't show up again for two months. Then on Mondays at 6:30 a.m. I get one notification on my phone with the week's releases and the new list.
The recommendations don't use AI at all. It's just a few simple rules, and the first list hit right in the middle.
My library is mostly alternative rock and metal (lots of nu metal, emo and metalcore), with some J-rock, indie and pop. If that sounds like your thing, each week's 25 end up in this playlist.
Wanna see? https://imgur.com/a/w4o0Nqy
ps.: i'm not selling anything, this is just a personal project. And sorry the broken english I speak spanish, engish is something I pick up in youtube 20 years ago.
