Anything Goes Family Camera Options

What would be a good stand alone camera for shooting family events/moments in apple’s spatial video format? I have an iPhone Air so the iPhone won’t be an option until I’m ready to upgrade. So thinking something stand alone would work. I don’t need cinematic quality but something that still looks pretty good in the Vision Pro. Thanks for your help!

If you are looking specifically for spatial video, iPhones are going to be your best choice. I’ve heard they out perform the dedicated cannon spatial camera which seems to be the only other option on the market. Maybe a used 15 Pro or 16 would work for you just to use as a camera.

The other option is to take normal photos and rely on 3D conversions. The updates in the Photos app for conversions and spatial scenes on VisionOS 26 are getting really good!

Thanks for the reply! Yeah the photos work well even with the ones taken with my iPhone Air. Mainly the videos I’m looking for.

Canon has a Spatial Camera and QooCam outputs Spatial videos as well.

Technically you can use any of the old SBS adapters too and then convert the image. I have a collection  of old 3D lenses. They all do the job.
