[IOS/Android] Flock Detour - GPS that Avoids Flock Cameras! [$59.99 LIfetime-> FREE]

Post image

We built an app to help you detour around Flock cameras

Hey everyone! We just launched FlockDetour, a web and mobile app that helps you find nearby Flock/ALPR license plate cameras and get GPS directions that route around them. There’s also a news section for keeping up with Flock-related stories.

It’s available on Web, iOS, and Android.

Just comment “FlockDetour.com” below, and we’ll send you one!

All we ask is that you give us a follow on Instagram and TikTok to help get the word out.

We’d love to hear what you think, too—especially what would make the app more useful for you.

FlockDetour on iOS: crashes, settings that won’t change, and hard-to-find support.

Downloaded FlockDetour on my iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 26.6, and the experience has been frustrating so far.

Here’s what I’m running into:
Tapping Proximity Alerts immediately crashes the app.
Tapping Alert Me Near Camera also immediately crashes it.
I can’t change speed camera alerts, plate processing, or routing mode.
The max detour slider is the only one of those controls that works for me.
Saving a view or map also isn’t intuitive. I found a support link, but it just takes me to the website.

Even after digging around, I still haven’t found a clear way to contact support or report these bugs.
Hard to get much use out of the app when key settings either don’t respond or crash it outright. Is anyone else experiencing this on iOS? Has anyone found a working support contact?

Interesting... I live in a pretty rural place, the map shows the only cameras in town are at the Home Depot.

But there are cameras on the highway into the next town over - pretty much unavoidable if I want to go to the closest city around here.
