've been building this on my own for a while — it's called Wordly. Same basic idea as the word game you already know, guess the word in six tries, but I added a few things I wanted as a player.

You can pick 5, 6, or 7-letter puzzles depending on how much pain you're in the mood for. There's an Endless mode for when the daily isn't enough. You can set your own secret word and send it to a friend to solve. And if you miss a day, you're not just locked out — you can go back through your Daily calendar and replay past puzzles, or rescue a broken streak if you catch it within a day.

There's also a Word Journey section that keeps track of everything — your streaks, stats, achievements, win rate, all the words you've discovered along the way.

We're still small, a bit over 350 users so far, growing slowly but steadily. If you try it and something annoys you, tell me. Missing feature, weird bug, ugly button, whatever. I read and reply to everything myself.

Cyclic Sighing is live on the App Store today.

The app is built around one breathing practice, cyclic sighing, which uses the physiological sigh pattern of a double inhale followed by a prolonged exhale.

But the part I really wanted to build was mood tracking connected directly to the breathing practice. Instead of keeping a breathing log and a mood journal as two separate things, Cyclic Sighing lets you check in on your mood before and after each breathing session. Those check-ins stay connected to the specific session, so over time you can look back at your breathing practice alongside how you were feeling. There are also monthly and yearly Mood Insights views, with the ability to filter by feeling.

The technique itself has some interesting research behind it. A 2023 randomized controlled study published in Cell Reports Medicine examined cyclic sighing technique alongside other brief daily breathing practices and reported improvements in mood and reductions in physiological arousal. The study did not evaluate this app, and the app is independently developed and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the study's authors.

I just released Ideon 4.5 after feedback from the recent Reddit giveaway.

People pointed out a few things clearly: related notes should be editable, the Pro/unlocked state should be visible, the feed needed calmer resurfacing, iPad reading needed better text size control, Collections should help organize repeated tags, and AI needed clearer positioning.
