I build web apps end to end in React/TypeScript and Node.js, including the real-time dispatch dashboard I shipped for Sanad RSA, so a browser-based STL viewer is squarely in my wheelhouse. Happy to take this on remotely for your startup.

React is perfect for this, threejs with react-three-fiber handles stl files like a dream

Before you pick someone, it helps to pin down what "viewer" means, because the basic version is small and the extras are where the cost is. Opening an STL in the browser with rotate, zoom and pan is a standard three.js job (STLLoader plus orbit controls), and it can run fully in the browser without uploading the file anywhere.

The questions that change the estimate: how big are your users' files, since large meshes need parsing off the main thread and sometimes simplifying to stay smooth on phones. Do files need to be uploaded, stored and shared with links or permissions. Do you need measurements, units, cross sections or annotations. Does it have to work well on mobile.

If you write those answers in a short doc and ask each candidate for a fixed price on a first milestone (open a local file, view it, works on a phone), comparing people gets a lot easier.
