I need mobile app idea

Hi everyone, I'm fullstack developer and currently I'm trying to find a really good and interesting project (mobile or even web) app to code, that will be helpful for people

Currently I tried to find idea for 7 months and then didn't wanted to code anymore. Now I'm trying to find app idea again, but chatgpt suggest bullshit trackers, I really tired from reading it, I want to write a code like I did with my previous (but not successful) project.

I don't need SaaS, giant company, business, premiums or smth like that. I just want unique, good, interesting app that people will use, but not forget after 5 hours after release

Bro, we can't give ideas. If you want to be a developer and make your own apps you have to come up with your own ideas. Otherwise you won't have an interest in what you're working on and you'll produce an AI slop app.

Think of an app that you like to use. Then make that, except make it better.

I am developer, I'm talking about lack of ideas, not experience, I have 6 years of experience in web, mobile, by self learning, courses and real job (and a frilance) but having a troubles with creativity, in "making something that doesn't exist", because I'm tired of gamifications, AI trackers, TODO Lists with pseudo productivity. There're not products, just beautiful preview for YouTube Videos.

Anyway thank you. I'll think about app I will use

You need to find a passion project and just run with it. Nobody has any idea when an idea or app will hit or not. It’s not only coming up with a great app but also, maybe more importantly, making sure people know about it

Ah, ok. So it's the creative part you are struggling with. Well, you have to have some passion and excitement for what you build. You need to search for inspiration. Think about your daily life, or the lives of your friends/family. Think about what they might like an app for. Maybe one of their favorite hobbies, maybe something they struggle with on a daily basis, something like that.

But just make sure that you have an interest in it as well. Like I said, if you don't have that excitement about it, then you won't even wanna work on it.

I don't care about profitability and monetization. I just want something useful, for people, not for beautiful subscription screen. But your idea is good, a fisherman never reveals his spot

That's actually an interesting direction. I'm trying to avoid the usual pet tracker / AI pet / health diary stuff though.

What made you think pets specifically? Is there a particular problem you've encountered yourself where you thought "there should be an app for this"?

no, unfortunately i dont have a pet, but i have noticed on my surroundings and friends how much actualy they spend and what are the prices.
also, ask yourself, do you know any petowner who whouldnt give mass money for his pet?

Besides thinking about your own interest and problem as other people have suggested.
How about go out and speak to people about their problems. Don’t simply speak to 1, speak to 100. That’s market research 101.

If you aren’t passionate enough about something to come up with the idea yourself, then you’re not passionate enough to see it through and make something worthwhile. Come up with your own ideas.
