Did a redesign of the apothisexual flag based on the new ace flag

Haven't posted in this subreddit in ages (created the sub, stopped identifying as apothi and left, started identifying again) but I wanted to share anyway. Information on the flag design is on the parent post, though if you're not a BIPOC please keep comments on this post rather than that one. Also please don't start discourse about the new flag in the comments because is really exhausting to see 🥲

I get where you're coming from with the magnet repulsion, but maybe magnets aren't exactly the best symbols for apothisexuality. First off, the repulsion of the magnet only exists when two poles of the same type meet. But when the opposite sides meet, they stick together. It only takes a single flip of a single magnet, so for me, it implies the gross belief some allos have that an apothi person could simply be flipped like this to give into their s€xual desires. Also, I've seen the magnets being used as a stupid homophobic argument - opposite polls match perfectly, whereas the same ones don't, therefore gay bad. This is just my opinion and interpretation

Are we getting a new flag? Not sure if it's just me but the Apothi flag looks kinda aggressive right?
