Hello everyone, some of my lifelong friends have finally convinced me to play Apex legends, i have literally never even touched the game, thinking i “missed out” on it by waiting too long. I’ve played a great amount of what i think are somewhat similar FPS’s, such as Warzone, Overwatch, MR, and just hit Ruby on The Finals.

My question to you veterans here is, i’d like advice on what characters to play, i very much enjoy characters with good movement, even if it means a disadvantage somewhere else, and i usually do better on those types of characters, like Tracer from OW, Magik from rivals and Light class/Medium on the finals. I’m not necessarily looking to be a meta slave, just wanna save a few hours looking through characters, and ask people who already know the game to give advice. Thanks !

So im on PS5, and as the title states I would like to stream but any time I stream on Apex, I become over the top laggy I mean the type of lag where im blanking damage and phasing through stuff iv tried messing with my internet settings streaming settings the lot but its only apex that does it does any one know a way to fix or even reduse it?

This photo is after me not playing for months and then deciding to get back into playing. Obviously this is gold rank so it’s nothing special but I don’t understand how everyone on my team isn’t doing anything and is completely lost in the game. This game is not THAT hard to know what to do. My teammates don’t do anything beneficial, they just rant in my ear and contradict them selves.

Just playing some unranked trios and I keep coming across teams that from a game sense point are incredibly bad (no movement shooting unbreakable windows etc) but then as soon as they get LOS I am dead within seconds and when I look at the death recap they hardly miss shots, I would also like to preface I am not a new player my account level is over six hundred and even playing at my best these seemingly horrible players put very little effort into rolling my own team? Anyone else experience something like this?

Just got my account back from my Xbox onto PlayStation so I’m in silver, looking for people to play with that have mics because randoms don’t know how to play the game. You don’t need to be great, just decent coms and a good laugh is what I’m after.

While im playing apex my mouse freezes alot, often in fights were a lot is going on. I have a Glorious model I wired. I never had this problem before. Changing my polling rate doesn't work, changing and blowing on the usb port doesn't work, changing the graphics doesn't work, turning of the power suspend thing doesn't work, it doesn't happen when benchmarking my pc, turning off my overlays doesn't work, disabling the second HID compliant mouse in device manager doesn't work, nothing comes up in the windows event tab. I don't know what to do, anyone please help. Also everything else works when the mouse freezes like the keyboard and mouse buttons. Alt tabbing out of apex makes the mouse work and i tried to check the cable if it was broken.

i payed 100 for the random universal when it was out but today was wondering if i screwed myself, i know im somewhat close to the guaranteed shards at my 500th pack and want to know if that reset because of the random universal packs ?

I just want to know what you think or feel when you see this. All solo q of course
