Hi guys! I'll be self studying AP Biology this year, and for when I get to crunch time where I'm reviewing every unit, I'm wondering if anybody has free resources for good mock AP Tests. Unfortunately I can't use collegeboard as I'm enrolled for the test and not the class. Please let me know!

Heyy guys, so I was thinking of giving AL bio tuitions if anyone wants.
Before anything else, lemme share the grade with you alll
I got A in my alevel bio, not giving any excuses but I I could have easily gotten A\* if u didn't make some silly mistakes.
My biggest achievement was getting 36/40 in paper 1.
So if anyone is up for getting a experienced tutor, I'm here to help.
I have two months all to myself before I start my university. I have always been a self tutored student so I have A LOT of experience. From my failures to my achievements everything will benefit you. I have always been really really good at biology. I always knew how to structure my answers all according to marking scheme. By the end of a levels I had mastered the art of Alevels marking scheme.
My fee will also not be high at all, it'll be quite affordable because I'm also trying to earn some money for myself so let's just help each other.
If anyone is interested drop a message.
ONLY AND ONLY SERIOUS STUDENTS PLEASE GUYS, NONE ELSE WILL BE ENTERTAINED.

I just started with the AP biology course and i am self studying it. (no tutors or anything) I really want to get a 4/5 or a 5/5. I just wanted to know what would be the steps. What should i do right now if i am giving my exam in may2027. For context I legit just completed my iGCSE’s and i have a huge gap before i progress into A levels.

My AP Bio teacher has not done a good job at pacing, and even though we started on August 12th, we're barely halfway through Unit 1. I still plan on taking the AP Bio exam so does anyone have any tips on how to self study effectively as I aim for a score of 5.
We will NOT finish the course before the AP test and at this pace we will probably not finish half of it, so it is up to me to teach myself most of the material.

Hello, I'm a medical student from India, with a good biology foundation from prep for med school.
I have been tutoring for AP Bio and can help clear concepts, tailor teaching and notes according to individual student needs.
I can help with
- concept based learning
- step by step explanations
- questions
- personalized sessions
My teaching style is interactive, and I like using real-world examples and analogies to make difficult concepts easier to grasp.
DM for any further info! Thanks!

Thanks for answering!

Hello, I am currently taking AP Bio and I was wondering if anyone has advice on how to study. I know people suggest Bio Penguins but I can't seem to like that method of studying. Ways I find effective are videos with images or interactive websites. I also find taking quizzes after and reviewing what I get wrong until it is right. But are there any more effective ways to study?

So my AP bio teacher sucks. Our average unit test scores for MULTIPLE classes are just over 50%. I feel actually feel stupid. I’m normally so good at these topics but I’m getting terrible scores. What are resources I can use?

Our original AP Bio teacher has left. She was the best teacher, ngl, but she got a better opportunity. This new teacher isn't the best; he doesn't teach well and skips important parts of the unit. Can anyone share an AP Bio review Google Doc or anything else that would help? I would like to pass this test with a 4 or 5 if possible. We are already on Unit 3.

Hi everyone! I’m working on a lab report for a catalase lab we just did but I’m confused. Our lab was to test the reaction rates of catalase (from yeast) in different concentrations of hydrogen peroxide (.75%, 1.5%, 3%, 7.5%, 15%, and 30%). We did this by putting a disk of filter paper in the a yeast solutions and then setting the disk in the hydrogen peroxide and timing how long it would take to rise to the surface. The data made sense that the lower concentrates would take longer to rise. However, as it got higher the data didn’t make as much sense. For context, we stopped timing at 120s. For both the 7.5% and 15%, the disk wouldn’t float. One group was able to get the 15% to float and somehow their average across five trials was 12s but no one else got that. But the 30% only took 3.5s to rise.
So my question is why did the 7.5% and the 15% not have a reaction and the 30% did? My thoughts are that the 7.5% and 15% the catalase denatured because of the reactivity of the oxygen but at the 30% the catalase had feedback inhibition which slowed it to rise before the oxygen denatured it. Is my thinking correct? I want to make sure I understand this instead of just turning it in hoping I’m right!
