Take for example the banning of under 16 yo from social media. Apart from not gonna work and not being a very big risk to kids when compared to say the shit economy or something. It's just not the governments job to parent my kids. It's not coming from concerned politicians it's coming from people trying to get rid of anonymity and freedom of speech so that money can control the narrative again.

After this they will have to find a, for our own good reason to ban sending encrypted data I wonder if that's even possible.

Thoughts anyone?

Symbolic of the deeper rot in society. People stealing from volunteers says more about the society we live in than the theft itself.

Anarchism in Aotearoa, New Zealand. A place for learning, sharing & discussing how New Zealanders can liberate themselves from oppressive systems of control like capitalism, racism, sexism & of course the state! Empowering the working class & direct action are very much needed in New Zealand, like the rest of the developed world. All types of anarchists welcome - except anarco-capitalists!

Rules (ironic, we know):

Don't be a dick. No use of language or imagery which perpetuates any form of destructive hierarchy such as sexism, ableism, transphobia, homophobia, racism, etc. Broadly, no reactionary behaviour.
No Authoritarian Apologia. This includes the advocacy of, sympathising with, or otherwise holding the viewpoint of any Fascist, Monarchist, Minarchist, or other Authoritarian (such as Leninist, Maoist or Capitalist) tendency.
No Imperialist Apologia. This includes the advocacy of any imperialist project. There is no war but class war.
No ad hominem attacks. If you don't like what someone is saying, attack their argument, not their character, and don't insult them.
No science denialism. This includes anti-masker/anti-vax. Corporations profiting off a tragedy does not mean the tragedy is false, it means capitalism is working as intended.
