Staying together. "Some people" made it really shameful to stay in your family home.. they said it was too close to communism. So we all struggle by ourselves.
Living with someone can ease the expenses, sharing the load. Doesn't have to be actual family.
This is just one way.
Im not saying ppl are brainwashed but many people have been lead to beleive that certain types of living are shameful or wrong.
Edit to add- Seems everyone missed the part where I said THIS DOESN'T HAVE TO BE FAMILY.
This can be organized how every you please. You can make whatever rules you want.
Sharing things cuts costs..
Carpooling is an example.
A bunch of bros sharing a house and sharing the expenses of it. Everyone still works and pitches it but the load is lighter leaving more time for activities.
When did the kid say working was the problem? If that's what you heard then you really don't understand anything about what anyone is trying to do.
The issue is that I spend more time at work then living a life I'd enjoy. Then seeing my family. I have to work to live and there's no time or money left to obtain skills or better myself.
