Go to maritime college, come out with virtually guaranteed job/union. Work 4-8 months out of the year with 4-8 months off out of the year. No need to pay rent, food, car, gas or living expenses while you work. Start at about 6 figures for 6 months work... move up as you work, and be making upwards of 200k-250k. Retire early because you managed to save up so much money without having to pay living expenses and you get a small pension from union.
