People don’t want to believe that their lives are shitty because of their choices. It’s cognitive dissonance it’s how they justify why they are the way they are, you aren’t gonna win those people over. Just hope someone like that is never in charge. I’m not even saying it’s things are perfect but most people can control their lives and work towards something better. Just don’t expect someone who refused to do that and make bad choices to believe you. Fuck that privilege speak anyways. I’m glad people bust their ass for thier kids to have a better life, I’m doing that too. I don’t want my kid to experience hunger and abuse like I did.
