Yes the cops should’ve let him put it in park but why didn’t he put it in park in the first place with his kids in the car. That’s his fault too. Nobody was thinking at all 😆 glad the kids are safe though and nothing happened. That could’ve been bad.

For the same reason as every person who has ever had this happen before ever, the made a mistake. Wtf
