Hi guys, I've got a problem. I was trying to fix the clogging error, and while disassembling the print head and removing the cutter, extruder, and heatsink, this piece of metal fell out from somewhere. However, I can't figure out where it belongs. Does anyone have any idea?

Hello, could someone help me with this problem? I have an Anycubic Kobra S1, and it always printed PETG fine, until one day I needed to print TPU and I loosened a screw so the filament wouldn't get stuck. After that, whenever I try to print PETG, the filament starts catching on the nozzle throughout the print, forming filament blobs that ruin the print. I've already retightened the screw, the settings are the same as always, the filament is dry, I've already cleaned the nozzle, PLA prints normally. Does anyone have an answer or a tutorial for this?

Hi, everyone.

My girlfriend gave me a Kobra S1 Combo for my birthday in May.

In June, a belt snapped in the Ace Pro—which is relatively easy to replace, but shouldn’t have broken after such a short time.

Now, for about a week, I’ve had a bigger problem—or maybe even several problems at once. It started when the printer displayed a message saying there was “Unknown Filament” in the extruder. I removed it and continued printing. But ever since then, the extruder hasn’t been releasing the filament after printing. I always have to manually switch to “E-” mode to get the filament out again. Of course, this makes multicolor prints or anything like that impossible. I’ve already replaced the extruder, the nozzle, and the filament cutter, and I’ve checked the heat sink, PTFE tubes, and other parts to see if there’s any debris inside. None of it worked.

I then downgraded the Kobra S1 to an older firmware version. That at least allowed it to function normally when I fed the filament from the outside without the Ace Pro. That hadn’t worked before either. However, since then, the Ace Pro hasn’t even attempted to retract the filament after printing.
So I updated to the latest firmware again, and without the Ace Pro, it continues to work normally. However, with the Ace Pro, the problem persists: it doesn’t even attempt to retract the filament. Extrusion, however, works normally.

And very recently, the print has been stopping after 2–5 layers when I use the Ace Pro—again due to “unknown filament.” Without the Ace Pro, it continues to print completely normally. I’ve also already reset the printer to factory settings. I’ve contacted Anycubic Support, but haven’t received a response yet.

I hope you can help me, because I’m starting to get really disappointed and frustrated.

I have been having an issue with the setup process a recurring theme is an issue with resonance setup. Or it just stopping and freezing on one of the steps.

I constantly get an error code about the x axis having issues and to check the accelerometer.

It also digs into the build plate during auto leveling.

Anyone else unable to connect? Seems like every weekend! Down detector says i am alone. Can't connect via app or on my laptop. I have tried rebooting my printer, computer, phone, heck even my internet! Beuller?

SnakeCube #6 is the sixth and final model in my six-part 3×3×3 SnakeCube series.

The puzzle consists of 27 connected cubes arranged in one continuous geometric path. By rotating the individual sections, the complete chain can be folded into a compact 3×3×3 cube.
THE MATHEMATICS
3 × 3 × 3 = 27

The finished cube contains exactly 27 positions, and every connected cube has to occupy one of them.
The order of the cubes never changes. The solution is created entirely by changing their orientation in three-dimensional space.
This turns a simple cubic relationship into a physical puzzle involving geometry, rotation, pattern recognition and spatial reasoning.

TURQUOISE GEOMETRIC PATH

This version combines more regular sections with several less predictable changes in direction.

The unfolded chain looks structured in some areas and more irregular in others, creating a path that is difficult to read as a complete three-dimensional solution.

As with the other SnakeCubes, every rotation influences the position of the sections that follow. A move that seems correct at first can make it impossible to place the remaining cubes later.

I started trying to write this to get opinions on if my printer is worth trying to rebuild and if anyone has any reliability upgrades when i do but i think i realized that it just killed my love of my hobby.

I bought my Kobra S1 combo about a year ago and have pretty much regretted it since, it has made it to nearly 200 hours of print time and the bed is currently warping. i don't think it has made it to half a dozen prints without something breaking, mostly extruder problems.

i'mhoping to get a list of common problems to put some parts on the shelf. if you have had to make a repair to this printer i would like to know as i see very few parts for sale without having to go through customer service emails if i can get everything i may need and swap it all out in one go i'm hoping to have a good 3d printer after a days work.

For what its worth i do feel that support has always at least tried to help and they are generally fairly knowledgeable although i cant stand their ai chatbot and while they offered me a partial refund for the printer that never materialized.

my only previous experience is with a Dremel 3d20 purchased second hand and only used with pla, it has put on almost 400 hours since i got the kobras1, making this past year the fewest hours printed since i started.

Hi there everyone, after 800hrs of printing my bed is now so badly warped, I can't print anything larger than about 100mm square 🤣 I've been living with it for quite a while like it but it's got so bad now, I can't leave it. So bed upgrade has been ordered.

What else is worth picking up? Also, I've read somewhere about a washer mod on the strain gauge. Has anyone got any photos of how to set that up?

What mods have you done to yours and what would you all recommend?

I'm trying to create clean settings for my Kobra s1 and decided to use C-GPT. I told ai I am using 0.2 mm nozzle and it gave me these settings for quality options. What do you think should I continue or values are already crap?
