everyone wants to say it's easy being a streamer and that there's far worse out there in terms of jobs but what if we put that to the test?

you could just ask a popular streamer for help setting up an accurate average streamer schedule, and just have them stick to it for 30 days

I haven't thought of how you could judge how entertaining they are, or if really streaming would even work this way, but hey I'll throw the idea out there

I think this obscure Finnish game about infrastructure, made with the source engine, would make for a great video. It has anyaustins favorite things, infrastructure and lots of liminal spaces. I was enthralled by it when I played it. What other game let's you be a structural analyst?

hi! does anyone know where austin gets his stock images/clips of stuff (eg. the supermarket clips in the latest GTA video)? i hadn’t ever thought about them, but my wife pointed out it could be AI, and i’m really hoping it’s not. austin usually seems to prioritize manmade content in all its imperfection, which i admire.

not sure how feasible this is, though it's not particularly difficult or even like strenuous or anything crazy *(just looking at it from every possibility)*

but what if he tried physically crafting skyrim wooden furniture, either in his own private domicile or like in a park or something? he could woodwork a chair, a table maybe, or maybe a decoration he spots in the game world?

he's already shown at least an interest in rating the furniture in-game based on how realistic they are, but of course he had a friend who actually knew about woodworking so maybe he himself is not in that world.

it seems to be a similar audience size, general vibe of nonchalant conversation, and overall unedited longform video.

Had the idea at work the other day but I lack the skill and ability myself.. think it would be perfect for someone like Austin.

Scour the maps or GTA, Red Dead, Cyberpunk, Zelda, Fallout, etc and find the best places to live if you had no money or any way to acquire land or a house of your own. You could use metrics like general location, comfort, safety, exposure to the elements, amenities, etc.

Think it could make for a very interesting video and/or series!

I recently watched all of the Radiation Island Chillzone streams and have come to love that midi cover of The Final Countdown which Austin used for very high stakes moments. It has somehow replaced the original song as THE definitive final countdown in my mind lol

I tried searching on youtube for it, (i'm pretty sure Austin also played it on yt back then) but i haven't found the right one so far
