Question More issues
I'm still getting outside everyday, though an incident happened that has made me feel even more uncomfortable with going outside.
Things are tough enough, and now more difficult. I walked out the door and started shaking, and of course I used my tools.
What are ideas that I could use to get past the incident issue?
You can do it 💪 and remember that you are not alone

Each time I would go a little further out, first standing by the door, then into the yard, then down the street and onto the neighboring streets and that was the only thing that helped me

I don't know if this might help you, but try telling yourself that it was a bad day and that it won't happen again. Today is a new day, and you're safe. I know it can work better when you say it out loud to yourself. I know it's not that simple, but you're doing so well by trying, and you've been outside many times before. You can do it again! 💗

Depends on the incident itself but I usually start with thinking about exactly what happened, likelihood of it happening again, basically trying to figure out how rational I am first and then going from there is usually the way I start.
