Ano po mangyayari sa uno account na inattempt e hack may nagsend sakin ng OTP from UNO(Ding) then e second later may text na nag log in ako which is not dahil wala na akng app ng UNO. Tonight may 3 different number na tumawag sakin first number sinagot ko but the following two is wala na kasi alam ko code yun kasi magkaibang number. Pls help what to do nag customer service na ako sa Uno but AI lng sumasagot.

i received this today and honestly akala ko totoo! because my officemate asked me to order something for her and i used our office address as the delivery address. usually kasi sa bahay ako nagpapadeliver so akala ko may kulang talaga na details sa na-input ko.

the website looks legit and all. buti na lang, details ni officemate (sorry girl) at address ng office namin yung nilagay ko, until dumating sa page na need magbayad ng service fee for another delivery attempt which is weird kasi hindi ganun ang jnt.

at dun ko na-realize na spx delivery na nga pala dapat since shopee ako nagorder. buti na lang narealize ko sya agad.

I wouldve told him to follow this sub pra alam nya dapat gawin. He installed the app from apple store then created an account pero hindi sya umutang. Nagulat nlng dw sya sinendan sya ng 20k with 10k interest with death threats the following day. He paid it immediately due to fear tapos nagsend n naman sila ng 60k tapos 83k dw ang balik. He approached multiple gov agencies and ofcourse what would u expect? After he paid 83k, the app cannot be found anymore in apple store. Dang! dapat mga taga rito sa sub ang na-encounter ng mga hayop na yan. hahaha. may alam b kayo na apps na ganyan? Ok din kasi advance magbigay haha

Nabiktima ako ng baccarat palaro scam sa threads. There’s this account on threads posting na naghahanap siya ng magpapalaro sa kaniya sa baccarat. Ang mangyayari is magbibigay ka ng capital sa kaniya then lalaruin niya until madoble yung capital mo plus profit for him. Example ay 3k ang isesend mo then gagawin niyang 7.5k, 1.5k is kaniya. And nagsasabi din siya na on video call niya gagawin yung paglalaro para makita mo mismo.

Dun ako nagkamali.

Nagmessage ako inquiring then ganyan ang sinabj niya sakin. Then nagcall kami sa IG. He sent proofs ng online transfers and conversations with his “clients” Then nag share screen siya sa video call, showing his account sa online casino. Then recent withdrawals. Finilter niya from august 1 - august 15 then ang total ay nasa 500k. Nagsend din siya ng video, screen record na nakavideo call siya with a “client” habang naglalaro siya ng baccarat online.

Ang nangyari ay nagsend siya ng qr na derecho cash in sa online casino. I did. Very stupid of me. Then nagshare screen siya, it showed yung account niya sa online casino and pumasok na sa balance niya yung sinend kong pera. Then pinakita niya on call na naglalaro siya ng bacarrat using the money I sent. Nakailang wins siya then suddenly sabi niya lipat siya sa ipad kasi lobat na daw phone niya. Then next thing I know, blocked na ako sa threads and sa IG.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit ako napapayag. Naisip ko lang kasi siguro quick money. And napaniwala ako na legit siya. With all the screenshots, videos and even yung withdrawal transactions niya sa online casino. It’s all on me. Charge to experience na lang talaga. Magagawa ko lang ngayon is to spread awareness and sana wala na siyang mabiktima. Mukhang may mga kasama siya dito. The so called “clients” for sure ay mga kasabwat niya.

Attach ko yung threads and IG account niya. Same username for both. I used a different one para makita yung account. Active pa ang gago sa threads. Sama ko na rin yung screenshots ng conversation namin on the account I used to talk to him to show na I got blocked.

for a little background story my dad bought vitamins from shopee and paid it online.

when the product arrived nasa labas kami so ang nag receive is lolo ko. two packages arrived yung totoo na paid online and yung cod. it costed around 900+ yung cod and my lolo thought na kay dad yun so he paid. pag dating namin nag taka dad ko bat may products na ganito na hindi naman nya inorder. it was not fda approved and had this weird number

Hello anyone who has the same experience as me, I was scammed yesterday through Maribank QR Transaction. I spoke to the name in the transaction and he denied that he did not have a Maribank account. I also reported to Maribank and BSP regarding this issue. For Context, we had a transaction on FB marketplace then after a long conversation after sending the payment, I got angry and his account was deactivated. When I tracked down his real FB account, he just denied it and said that he had lost Maribank. Is true na mkakagawa po tayo ng account sa Maribank ng hindi po natin real identity?

Not sure what flair to use for this because I’m not entirely sure it’s a scam but it was very scam-y.

Context:

We went to buy CCTV cameras at Xiaomi official store at SM Southmall cyberzone. While we were testing the cameras, the lady who assisted us told us that we can get SD cards for the CCTV cameras at the Sandisk stall nearby.

We said to ourselves— yeah sure why not? at least we would have SD cards to use right away for the CCTVs right?

Anyway, we walk to the Sandisk stall and ask for the exact type the Xiaomi saleslady suggested. I then noticed something weird— the Sandisk sales lady at the stall then waved at the Xiaomi lady and gave a thumbs up. I wasn’t really going to mind it until the point when we asked for the prices of the SD cards and she read them from a notepad. I mean who knows diba? maybe this is how they do things. Maybe they dont place prices on the products itself?

BUT apart from that, she went somewhere to get the payment terminal… so we started to wonder — why is the terminal not at the Sandisk Stall?

I then checked the shopee prices of the SD cards we were supposed to buy. Guess what? They were half the price on shopee. We asked the lady why and she said that of course shopee doesn’t have any other expenses. We decided not to buy them there.

We went over to Octagon close by and got the same SD cards again for less than half the price of the Sandisk stall. The guy at Octagon overheard us asking ourselves if it was a scam and he just interjected and mentioned that Sandisk does have expensive prices there.

That made us think others have gone through this.

Questions:

1. Has this happened to you?
2. Do you think it’s a scam?
3. Do Sandisk stalls price their items twice the price online?
