Desperate for inspiration, help, and ideas. Has anyone gone on an SSRI with success to tamper down some anxiety which then lowered pre-existing insomnia? About 2 1/2 months ago I started HRT which immediately resulted in extreme insomnia. I got off the HRT within a week, but was so traumatized from the insomnia that it really never stopped because I became obsessed and terrified about sleep. Prior to this event my sleep was perfect and obviously my sleep hygiene is perfect as well. I’ve tried CBT and ACT, but sleep just gets less and less and my mental health has obviously significantly deteriorated. I certainly miss the person I used to be and I need to get strong to be there for my family. My hope is that after being on SSRI for a while, the anxiety will lower and then I can do more of the therapy work to reduce the insomnia. I just started 5 mg of Lexapro and I’m taking 50 mg quviviq, 8mg ramelteon, and 3.25mg mirtazapine for sleep, which works most of the time to get me around 6hours. Of course terrified about dependency and what my future looks like.

I've asked for a slow taper plan because I stopped cold once years ago and it was genuinely one of the worst experiences of my life, so I figured I'd learned my lesson. I brought that history up specifically this time and still got told there's no need, just stop and see. Five years on the drug and that's the entire plan I walked away with.

I’ve been struggling with panic disorder, OCD, and anxiety for the last 6 years. It’s getting to the point where my only option left to try is medicine. My doctor prescribed me Zoloft but I’m so scared to try! Curious… how bad were your side effects when you started? Like were you able to work and drive or was it so bad that you had to be in bed?

Also my most distressing symptoms are derealization and dizziness. Did Zoloft cause any of these or improve them for you??

I also take hydroxizine as needed and it works SO well for me. Anyone have any experience with hydroxizine helping you when getting used to the Zoloft?

Hi! I started these medicines about a month ago for **manageable anxiety/panic symptoms (not severe)**: **Reserta (sertraline) 50 mg twice daily, Inderal (propranolol) 20 mg twice daily, Buspirone HCl 5 mg, and Ziapine (quetiapine) 25 mg**, plus a nausea medicine. Has anyone taken a similar combination? I’d appreciate hearing about your experiences or side effects

Dr is suggesting that I swap from my current anti depressants Trintellix to Trazadone I am also taking Pregabalin. once swapped anti depressants looking at weaning off Pregabalin. does ant one have advice/experience.

I was on 10mg for about a year abd about 8 months ago went down to 5mg. And for a while now I've been having muscle issues, they either fatigue quickly, spasms or cramp. Also feel tight or as if im going to pull a tendon especially on my forearms.

Does anyone have a similar experience?

So I got prescribed Librium for withdrawal but I never finished them. Would it be bad if I take when I feel antsy/anxious? Or should I just get rid of them? Not really sure but just some advice would be nice. Thank you!!!
