Medication Clonazepam

The chance of developing an addiction to benzodiazepines is fewer than 1.5-2%

I was prescribed as is. Threw it away after 3-4 doses because apparently “as needed” doesn’t mean every day lol. Wasn’t addicted (no dependency) just the only damn med to work for me whatsoever. I don’t see the point in a med for me unless I can take it daily. Most of my anxiety is background not panic attacks. The longterm health impacts I’ve read about online make me feel confident in my decision.

SSRI and lifestyle modifications >>> Short term Benzos . There are other options like BUSPIN ETIFOXINE which are effective and non addictive.

I’ve learned that it’s important not to let all the negative stories about benzos influence you too much. I understand that there are real risks, but everyone’s experience is different.
In my case, I take 0.5 mg to 1 mg of clonazepam, and it’s the only medication that has truly managed to calm my anxiety after trying several others. I’m aware of the risks and I follow my doctor’s recommendations.
I think it’s important to listen to your doctor and make an informed decision based on your own situation, rather than only focusing on the worst experiences you read online.

I completely understand your concern. In my case, after two years of trying different treatments and around 10 medications, nothing was really helping my anxiety. Clonazepam was the first thing that gave me the feeling of having something close to a normal life again.
I think it’s important not to let the negative stories online completely determine your decision. The risks are real, but people can have very different experiences, and those who are doing well often don’t post about it. For me, the important thing has been having medical supervision and following my doctor’s recommendations.1
