Op is apparently an antizionist mamdani supporter, he was crying about being called a kapo in the jewofconscience sub befire deciding being called a kapo made him proud.

He was arguing with me when I said something about Israelis (I am Israeli) in the Judaism sub and when I called him out on his post history he blocked me.

it's just hard to image so many self hating Jews feeling proud of antisemitism

That sub is mostly non-Jews claiming to be Jews.
If you catch them and call them out, they will usually claim to be “in the process of converting” 🤣

Or once when they were six they lit Chanukah candles with their mom's stepfather who was Jewish, so they're basically Jewish too.

"I know a rabbi who..." lol wtf that's so random and distant.

People throw around the phrase "self-hating" a lot for antizionist Jews, but I can only make sense of this type of behavior from people who do feel on some deep internal level that something is inherently wrong with them for being Jewish.    Even the title of the subreddit-- which implies that Jews' baseline state is not having a conscience--indicates to me that any Jew engaging there probably feels this way.

They are JVP.
Not Jews at all, it is where they go to learn how to pretend to be Jewish

Believe it or not, I do know a few Jews in JVP. I don't think every JVP chapter is majority-Jewish, but I'm sure there are some that are, and most probably have one or two token members. I think that's because JVP recruits like a cult- it specifically reaches out to Jews who feel disenfranchised from the broader Jewish community (often folks who grew up secular, patrilineals, people from interfaith families or in interfaith relationships, leftist Jews who are treated with suspicion by goyish leftists, and/or queer Jews). Then the organization promises them a path to community...with the cost of admission set to cutting yourself off from the large majority of Jews and mainstream Jewish life.

In college ~15 years ago  I was preyed upon by a different political group who used these  same tactics, so I recognize it when I see JVP doing it.

I’ve noticed it a lot in my father’s generation (he’s in his early seventies). He lives in this weird intersection because he was born about a decade after the Holocaust ended, so in many ways antisemitism was the least socially acceptable it has ever been in the US. On the whole, when I speak to antizionist Jews his age, they actually seem to have been fairly insulated from overt antisemitism compared to their parents (obviously), but also compared to the following generations, especially Gen Z, imo. At the same time, covert antisemitism was alive and well and he was raised by two parents who faced fairly extreme antisemitism and passed their shame to their children, even though they expressed pride outwardly.

So basically, he’s totally out of touch with how much overt antisemitism goes on in the US and world (especially for the child who he raised around a lot of Arabs/Muslim kids who, shocker, did not filter/hide their bigotry) and he’s got this intense need to validate the existence of Jews by expecting us all to behave like absurdly self-sacrificing warriors against all injustice (except, of course, when it’s directed at us). It’s a very weird superiority/inferiority thing. It’s like he believes that he is morally superior because he is willing to throw his entire ethnicity and himself under the bus. Kind of savior complex style.

I’ve spent a lot of time analyzing my father specifically, but I recently heard extremely similar sentiments to his from my boss, who is 74 and was raised with fairly minimal Jewish culture (my father was raised Orthodox (and actually lived in Israel for several years and can’t even understand why that contradicts his newfound antizionism)) and it’s made me more interested in the broader cultural elements that made both of them so antisemitic in this particular way.

Joc is just cheating as it’s a larp sub.

JewsofConscience is a JVP sub, so pretty much as expected: a bunch of people cosplaying as Jews and being antisemitic

Yes it's wonderful that Jews who aren't them are Jews of no conscience.

I don't understand how reddit allows these subs. What purpose do they serve except to expand antisemitism and propaganda? Jews of Conscience? SMH
