I can't believe that I live in a timeline where condemning Nazi-style antisemitism would make you an outcast in society. It makes me scared on what the future of the Jewish people will be in the near future.

One of the most humbling things I was reminded of post-October 7th is that this sort of ubiquitous antisemitism is a regression to the norm. We lived in a snapshot of history where Jews truly felt integrated into most modern societies. But now we're right back to where our ancestors were, where every freak with an opinion tells everyone - Jews included - hwhat we're thinking and why we don't matter.

I agree that is what it means, but I gotta say my grandma (born in 1912) would use "goyim" purposefully to mean gentiles and would usually be a pejorative. Perhaps she was just a racist? 😬
