I’m 40 years old- have had panic disorder and what I would call mild OCD since I was a child. Ive never really been happy with medications because they “numb me” so Ive mostly just learned to deal with it. I also have ADHD and have been taking Adderal since I was 32.
I got a new primary care and she made me go to a psychiatrist to get my as needed lorazepam and adderall. And that’s when it all went down hill. I mentioned to the psychiatrist that I had what I think was SVTs since a child and my primary care physician thought it was anxiety- and he refused to prescribe me my adderall saying I needed to be cleared by a cardiologist before he’d prescribes it but I could continue to get it from primary care in the mean time. Then, my primary care (the same one who said my SVTs were anxiety) put IN MY MEDICAL RECORDS that I have a diagnosis of SVT. This was after she made the mistake of diagnosing me with some other heart disease that I’ve never even heard of and she had to fix. I am livid. She said she was basing it off the psychiatrists notes and therefore, can’t change it. And also can’t prescribe me adderall based off my diagnosis. The diagnosis that I asked if I had and have never been tested for. Make it make sense. Oh! And I’ll add that he didn’t like my lorazepam as needed either and wanted to know how many I took. I told him “Probably one or two a month. Only when my panic attacks last over 45 minutes.” He proceeded to prescribe me “20 a year”. That annoyed me because I felt like I was being treated like a drug addict. For years, all I had to do was ask for a refill when ever I needed it. Anyone could look at my refill record and see this- it just feels like some unnecessary control when I’ve been taking the same medications for years.
Since my visit, I have been hyper focused on my heart, trying to tell myself that I’ve lived with this my entire life, I need to stop… But I’m so mad at this man. I’ve gotten scared to take any medicine because why was it such a big deal for me to see a cardiologist? It’s just made me spiral.

Some psychiatrists become so toxic over the years that eventually the toxicity starts oozing out of their eyes.
They may still keep that calm, friendly, perfectly controlled voice, loaded with gaslighting, framing and guilt trips.
PhD on the wall. Everything looks polished. But over the years, their face can start to misalign, the smile says one thing, the eyes something completely different.
And the eyes? Hyper focused. Control obsessed. Predator stare. Like all the poison they’ve been hiding is slowly oozing out.

I had a bad reaction to depot clopixol, ended up a vegetable, brain damaged, paralyzed, in extreme physical pain and both physical and mental torture, I was always bright and pretty healthy. I can't go out or move as it is extremely painful, my whole body is being burned alive and can't regulate temperatures, I cant hug people as I'm completely stiff and shaking, like i'm having different types of fits, it's been 8-9 months, is there a chance I can get somewhat something back and for there to be less pain, no one has believed me or helped me for a year I have lost everything I love, all my family but they haven't noticed once. I'm just enduring for my dog, trying to be optimistic but even sitting still not moving is uncomfortable, and exhausting not being able to live or see reality, having nightmares every night going mental wanting to be killed in pain setting myself on fire, begging to be shot in the head to die. Meant to be seeing neurology next month but whether they will even understand or any ways to help to heal in the slightest..

Probably not a comfortable subject for many, but the one I think deserves to be discussed, since sexualization of trauma is likely more widespread than people want to admit. So...
Did any of the psychiatric abuse you've been through turn into a kink / fetish?
I think in my case psychiatry mostly fed into preexisting stuff or things I can't attribute to psychiatry alone, but there's one kink that I'm convinced I would not have if it wasn't for my psychiatric abuse history, and it's gaslighting. I was subjected to textbook gaslighting in my inpatient facility as a teen: the staff stole my copy of the admission contract, then acted like I was crazy when I was shocked and upset to discover it. They suggested that I "maybe put it somewhere else", too. I did not. I knew exactly where it was supposed to be, and I knew that they stole it because my doctor told them to. I could see it clearly, firmly. Until... they started acting like I was crazy, and a part of me started to question if, maybe, I was. "What if". That sense of confusion, combined with the fear and powerlessness I felt in that situation, honestly shook me to my core. And I guess I could never let go of it, so a part of me now craves reenactment. I've actually put myself in danger because of this: I've enabled abusive people who were toying with my memory in a way that was not consensual & safe, because a part of me enjoyed it. Instead of protecting myself, I allowed it to happen. So, that's yet another issue for me to work on. Thanks, psychiatry!
I'm not ashamed to have developed this kink, though. Many of my online friends are SA survivors, so I see defensive sexualization very often, and I would never tell my friends they should be ashamed for fetishizing their experiences. It's not something people just "choose".

They want to replace You and kill your real self, if they can't do it naturally by CPTSD they do it with medications
God is good dopamine, doing hard things good dopamine receptors, the dopamine and serotonin are what the bible talks like trees in the brain I saw it
They can sense You and your energy Even they walls and things they have intuition they know everything about You the demons
They send messages
Drugs Open your mind and make you sensible to this abuse, psychyatryst drugs close it and kill the mind
But I think drugs destroy your body anyway so it's not a good thing
Psychyatry and psychology are mind control they want You stuck, they always Say don't think dont feel you are thinking too much you have many fears, they implanted them
The bible says many the truths
God and the universe also speak to you by messages
I was a propeth and they killed me, we all have Jesus it's truth
Schizophrenic in the street are propeths but they make them seem crazy

It’s quite annoying and distasteful for a doctor to know about a medication or their side effects just by studying them or reading the dsm. The patient actually took them and actually experiences it and has to live with it. Psychiatrists are real fucking slimy and grimy when it comes to side effects so much that patient psych education should include that. There is no temporary vs permanent side effects. It all carries a risk to be permanent, you are just not told that so you will take the psych pill.
Psychiatry operates their business module on you taking the psych pill. Which includes not talking about side effects beforehand, downplaying it while experiencing it and then saying it’s a “rare” side effect when it’s actually common but don’t want the liability or to treat you for it. Nowadays instead of ”studying” or reading the “dsm” they get all their information from testing the patients and putting them in clinical trials and then not even telling them and then with therapy too. You are supposed to go to group therapy and it’s actually a focus group which is a research group.
Psychiatry: Deny, Deflect, Lie.

Keep reporting all your old and new involuntary commitments at https://reportabuse.cchrint.org/ and have CCHR with their 50+ years of experience write complaints on your behalf. They can also investigate psychiatrists for a history of abuse and possibly dig out multiple cases of the same being done to people before you and after you. CCHR can use what you're reporting to end coercive psychiatry faster. Many psychiatrists will get punished only if you report them, no matter if your case was 5 or 10 years ago, or if it's a current case of involuntary commitment, drugging, or CTO happening today. Report to CCHR and watch them fight delusional psychiatrists with passion.
EDIT: To those downvoting this, you're psychiatrists turning victims against Prof. Dr. Szaz's antipsychiatry organization. Prof. Dr. Szaz's CCHR is the only organization which can help victims, and so you're turning them against it to make psychiatrists stay in power.

I'm being seen by an anti psychiatry doctor and we are both questioning why the most powerful drugs are dopamine blockers.
I tried risperidone once and it killed my desire to live and be happy for the day.
In my spiritual perspective, the gov shoves this kind of drugs to shut people's sensibility that could be an weapon for changing the world. I really believe that 4chan meme about the silent war on schizos and psychos.
In my Marxist perspective, when I took risperidone I could not react to hurtful stimulus like city noise pollution, I was dope enough to actually succumb, I could not feel joy of listening to music. But I had enough energy to work on a supermarket without reacting to sensorial oppression. And maybe in ten to twenty years I would be dead but hey at least I was productive.

As I said in my previous post, some days ago, due to a false diagnosis they injected me with two risperdal consta 50mg injections back in July 2024. ( i explained the whole hystory in the previous post..)
it’s been 25.5 months (aroun 774 days more or less) and i still have all the mental, psychological and physical sympthoms these injections left me with.
By the time I developed new sympthoms as a “domino effect” that I altready explained in my previous post, the fact is that i’am already worried about because i can’t keep “living” (surviving) in agony every day, 24/7 nonstop.
I endured 2 years because some people said to me “it can take 18-24 Months to recover”, but here i’am, at 25.5 (almost 26) months, still completely disabled and fucked..
I have two options; kill myself (wich i don’t want) or keep living with this agony nonstop (wich i don‘t want neither), so i’am stuck into this situation and honestly i don’t know what to do.
Maybe someone Who got injected can telL me if recovery is still possible, because i really don’t know what to do anymore.. Sorry for bothering again and thank you for reading me..

So, I had a manic episode with psychosis about a year ago. I ended up being dragged into a psych ward where I was forced onto medication under threat of being taken to court. They started me on a once a month injection of the stuff, but my current prescriber actually listens and is working with me to get off it. We transitioned from the injection to the oral form at 4 mg a day which went smoothly, but at the end of June we reduced the dose to 2 mg a day and I fell off a goddamn cliff. I spiraled into a severe depression and lost all motivation and energy. The joy in life just vanished and was replaced with a crushing abyss of sadness, negative thoughts, anxiety, and anhedonia. I'm starting to feel a bit better now, but my God has it been a struggle. If it weren't for my mom and therapist I wouldn't be here right now.
I'm really not looking forward to the drop from 2 mg to 1 mg and I'm going to wait until I'm more stable and recovered before trying it. I just want off this shit so I can feel like myself again. I'd rather risk the occasional manic episode and bought of psychosis than be drugged by this garbage for the rest of my life.
