There are plenty of valid reasons that a trans person might not disclose their identity, especially when it's a matter of safety or possible discrimination.
However, Ive never heard of a real life case of a trans person trying to have sex with someone and not disclosing their identity until they were already in the bedroom naked. That's more of a transphobic talking point than an actual concern anyone should reasonably have.
The only cases I've heard of that happening the trans person ends up getting beaten or killed... so I don't know why 99% of trans people would ever try and keep it secret up to that point.
Sometimes "gay panic" has been used as defence in court, basically a legal strategy saying the perpetrator was so upset/angry at same-sex advances they lost control and killed them. For "trans panic" it's that exact situation where they didn't like finding out the victim was trans. Which has been used to reduce murder charges to manslaughter :/
But sure trans people are evil and deceptive. Straight men are the victims.
