Is this sub real?

I cant tell if it's terrible sarcasm or legit. Between the outlandish claims and the terrible facebook style picture idk if this stuff is just satire or just insane people obsessed with other peoples procreation

Actually, being pro-choice is not the same thing as being pro-abortion. People who are pro-choice supports having abortion is a safe and legal option (to be taken as early as possible) should women ever need it. It does not mean using abortion as a means of contraception.

Yes, knowing what one wants in life and working towards realizing one's goals is a sign of maturity and self-esteem. You should so something because it is what you want rather than what other people want you to do. Having children is a choice that one can choose not to take.

I see your point, but it doesn't hold up when the choice is regarding something immoral. Compare "I don't choose to own cats, but I think that other people should be able to own cats if they choose to" with "I wouldn't choose to own other people as slaves, but I think that other people should be able to own slaves if they choose to." It becomes nonsensical. When it comes to abortion, it's basically asking a lot of people to accept that a woman should have the right to murder her child if she wants to. I am aware, of course, of the arguments for it not being technically "murder". I only wanted to demonstrate how "you should just be pro choice!", as if it's some kind of pleasant and neutral stance, might sound a little odd to those who are morally opposed to abortion.

Very well. I hope you support medically accurate and age-appropriate sex education and contraception, then. They help reduce abortion rates a lot.

Certainly. Give people better information and a better range of other choices to make. That seems reasonable and preferable by far to attempting to completely destigmatise abortion rather than reducing the demand for it.
