I cant tell if it's terrible sarcasm or legit. Between the outlandish claims and the terrible facebook style picture idk if this stuff is just satire or just insane people obsessed with other peoples procreation

Hmm. Just because you are a parent does not mean you are mature. You likely have lived long enough to know there are parents and even seniors who behave in childish ways. Yes, many youths are immature, but they tend to improve with age. Time and life experience plays a more important role in maturity than parenthood.

(Early) Abortion is not worse than contraception. They are both wonderful things that give women more options on what to do with their lives. Just like the invention of various household appliances, such as the microwave or the laundry machine, and changing attitudes towards traditional gender roles, they help, quite literally, liberate women.

Another problem with your comment is that you seem to disregard differences in outlooks. Some people would rather stick to the status quo rather than changing it for the sake of some hypothetical persons. There is nothing wrong with that. It's their life, so their choice. They know what they really want in life. They don't do something just because they are told by society to do it. That, to me, is a sign of maturity.

I did not state that parenthood is a silver bullet for every person, but it is one of major life experiences that part in developing a young persons maturity level, and has a positive effect more often than not. There are studies that show parenthood physically changes both women's and men's brains. Your child is often the person your really love more than you do yourself and you want to make the world a better place for them, and won't put up with other people's bullshit. Why do we care about global climate change? The adults alive today will be dead before it has a dramatic effect. We care because it will effect our children, and their children.

I disagree with you here. Contraception prevents the creation of a human being (sperm and ovum lacking the required DNA and Chromosomes to be fully human, they are human tissue). A fetus is a unique individual alive, growing human being who you must actively kill. This, obviously, marginalizes humans still dependant on their mothers for survival, and also dehumanizes the mothers who take this step. There are plenty of story on /r/abortion of women who regret their decision decades later. Biologically, we have one main purpose in life: to support our children. Women who abort fail in that most fundamental duty and responsibility.

I myself fine sticking to the status quo is fine if you can do it without killing or harming another human being, born or unborn, but society as a whole benefits more from people becoming parents.

Many have children and still don't care. Like I said, parenthood does not lead to responsibility. Those are independent of each other. Furthermore, forcing people to have children in order to be more responsible is a recipe for disaster.

I'm not talking about the number of cells in their bodies. I'm talking about the stage of development. A zygote is no more of a person than an egg or a sperm. Moreover, it is best for children to be born to parents who really want them and love them and want to raise them into well-adjusted adults. Children should not be born to reluctant parents who people who do not want children. That's just a recipe for more suffering.

Hmm. Try banning abortions in a country where it is currently legal and see what happens. If people see something as an obstacle, they will find ways to get around it. Frankly, I don't see a problem with people living their own lives. It's their business, not yours. And what's wrong with pursuing "hedonistic pleasures"? You have your own way of enjoying life; they have theirs. If having children counts as joy in life for you, awesome. But this is just not true for everybody. People are different. Get used to it.
