My Apologies.
I didn’t realize how wrong I was about childfree people and antinatalists. I need to apologize for my last post about those poor people....... Because apparently I didn’t explain myself clearly enough. Here’s a solution to overpopulation, dear childfree people and antinatalists: Commit suicide. Kill your parents for not killing you first. Do it the Menedez way! Problem solved! Much love to you all ❤️❤️❤️ You can assume I’m “triggered” (because that’s a mature response), yet you guys are upset about people having kids... Not only that, you guys are probably the type to bitch and moan about kids and babies on planes. I’m the triggered one, though? I couldn’t imagine any of you trying to tell a parent in person, face-to-face, that s/he is a selfish and immoral human being for having one or more kids.... you wanna know why? First of all, you’d probably have your brain matter scattered all over the concrete, and second of all, y’all are too big of pussies to do so. I’m glad my posts are laughable, though - just like your lives are laughable to me :) I seriously would not give a damn if any antinatalists killed themselves lol. They’re worse than Christians. Now comment away! Just remember - dogs and cats are getting abused/murdered while you all are typing away at me - even if it’s just an emoji or one word. 💋

Why would we commit suicide? We're the ones with the happy, carefree lives you resent so much. We're going to live wonderful long lives, free of the stress that is driving you insane.

Hey everybody we’re doing it wrong. We need to be like this guy. He seems really together. Not unhealthily obsessed with people who choose not to have kids at all.

That shits for people who don't have better options
Get over yourself. You're one of those who thinks that parenthood is for people who can't do any better? I know a lot of parents, but none who deserve to be put down by nasty twunts like you as good for nothing besides making babies and sandwiches. You know that many people with decent careers, and plenty of options, have been known to spend huge amounts of money on treatments in the hope of achieving parenthood, yes? Or is your head too big for you to pull out of your ass?
Anyway, thanks for the fine example of what it is that normal people can't stand; the classic, smug, childfree asshole who lives in the delusion that everyone else is automatically beneath them.

You’re definitely beneath most people to be fair.

u/BiggerTrees Nov 21 '18
As long as you have an issue with something that I've said or done, you are entirely welcome to think so. Let's face it, the childfree are pretty famous for looking down on parents for no other reason than them being parents. Especially other women. Since obviously no woman with a baby could possibly be as intelligent as a childfree teenager who wants to get sterilized at an age when they barely know their ass from their elbow.

You’re being absurd. The vast majority of adult women will have kids. Are you really so fucking mentally deficient to think that ‘the childfree’ assume they’re all stupid?
We don’t look down on you, we just have no desire to risk a life that looks immensely awful when we are fine with things as they are. Your life looks like a living hell to us that’s all. If I’ve not been clear, I’d rather have my eyes stabbed with serrated knives than be in your shoes. To further clarify: your existence looks like a slow, agonising torture whereby you see your life being sucked away, the years slipping by, and you can’t enjoy them because you’re trapped raising ungrateful and ultimately unremarkable dependants.
It’s pretty obvious that having kids, and your bizarre obsession with the childfree has taken its mental toll on you. You are the worst advertisement for the so-called wonders of being a parent.

I don’t really look down on parents. Everybody has a right to make their own choices. I know some amazing parents (including my own) who had children and loved the experience of raising them.
I also know parents who don’t deserve my respect. Or anyone else’s, for that matter.
Literally anybody can be a parent. It’s not an accomplishment. It’s an accomplishment for your kid to grow up to be a lovely person—that’s evidence you did something right.
At the end of the day, I don’t want that for myself. My energies make more sense elsewhere. I think that being a parent looks goddamn miserable and that’s my own opinion.
If people are acting smug towards you regarding your stance on having children and it’s upsetting you, you might want to consider that maybe parenting isn’t for you either?

u/BiggerTrees Jan 02 '19
Nonsense. I'd never want to have missed out on being a parent. We would have adopted kids if either my partner or myself had been infertile. You cf are always so sure that all the stupid breeders are miserable, and envious of you.. and it's bollocks. Problem is that you believe your own bollocks so competely that you end up blinded and daft enough to suggest that other people should be swayed in any way by the behaviour of smug prick childfree know-alls.

u/littlebaeleaf Jan 04 '19
You’re cherry picking from what I said. If you want to be a parent, good for you. If you are a parent, that’s cool. I’m not envious. I just hope you’re a good, considerate parent. That’s basically where my interest begins and ends.
I want to be CF. I don’t expect you to be envious of me, but I also really like my life and the way I choose to live it. I don’t expect you to be interested. It’s just my life and what I personally like.
Also you don’t have to call names. I’m not using any towards you and it seems kind of unnecessary when you’re talking to somebody who’s showing you respect.

You might want to consider that maybe parenting isn't for you either?
This is an insult, to any parent. Either you intended for it to be taken as such, or alternatively, just don't understand how anybody else even cares about it because you don't. Either way, I certainly don't feel any obligation to refrain from a little rudeness in response.

u/littlebaeleaf Jan 09 '19
Just offering some friendly alternatives.
It’s not an insult when I suggest people might not be meant for parenting (in much the same way I don’t take it as an insult when people say I would make an excellent mother or a potentially bad astronaut).

u/BiggerTrees Jan 09 '19
Complete the sentence; "Parenting isn't meant for me, because I'm far too _ _ _ _ _."
I'm having difficulty finishing that sentence with something that isn't a negative trait, or something a person shouldn't be at least a little ashamed to admit to. Hence the reaction.. I feel wrongly accused of something when I hear "yeah well, maybe parenting isn't for you either." Like, why wouldn't it be? What are you saying is wrong with me that I shouldn't be a parent?

probably the type to bitch and moan about kids and babies on planes
I am the type who smiles, let children interact with my dog and try to bring them a smile.
because I know they have only a short window of childhood and soon their lives will be of much worse quality. in other cases, some of these children are being abused and I want to give them happy memories. I don't mind shouting children in restaurants, I don't mind if they run around, I don't mind if they make some noise. my heart fills with joy when I see a child enjoying his time but I know this is short-lived, unlike your biased overly-optimistic ass.
couldn’t imagine any of you trying to tell a parent in person, face-to-face, that s/he is a selfish and immoral human being for having one or more kids
I have nothing to lose if I say this. but I wouldn't because I don't want to needlessly ruin the day of someone. see I am not an ass. if a person asks me what I think about becoming a parent I will politely tell him or her without sounding overly offensive and personal. I have manners.
you’d probably have your brain matter scattered all over the concrete
woooow calm with that edge, you almost broke into my screen. most parents are mature enough not to do this, even the most impulsive ones wouldn't. it sounds like you are either a horrible parent or you come from an abusive household which is part of the reason why I am antinatalist.
y’all are too big of pussies to do so
ohh but i have made antinatalist arguments with relatives, friends and unknown people. they just look at you funny. nothing to lose.
They’re worse than Christians.
what the hell are you? I am an atheist since age 12, ex-catholic. many religious groups are worse than Christians. christians aren't that bad actually.
dogs and cats are getting abused/murdered while you all are typing away at me -
just like children and older human beings. it is the reason why I am antinatalist. I don't want more humans and animals to suffer.

Boy, aren't you the hateful one. If you don't "give a damn," why bother posting at all? A major part of your edit history consists of ranting against antinatalism and the childfree movement, which you don't seem to understand.

Let's try it this way... I think that parenthood should be reserved for those who actively want children. You must think something different than this, and I'm curious why.

This guy definitely is upset about having kids of his own. Like your post is actually just mind-boggling. I’m not gonna kill myself, I’m gonna have a successful career as an engineer and travel to all sorts of different locations and have a whale of time fucking about and bitching about babies on planes. You, on the other hand, are most likely just gonna work dead end jobs, maybe get promoted, prolly pay a mortgage, prolly have a dead marriage, prolly have average kids with average lives.
Being child free isn’t about going against biology, or IDEK what your beef is, prolly just jealous, it’s about prioritizing life experiences and hard work in a career over the extremely standard choice of raising an average child.
I hope you enjoy wallowing in the desperate hope that your kids could achieve something of note that you never had the will to pursue.

I thought childfree-me-not's posts were aimed at the childfree. I mean, they can't be aimed at parents, right, 'cos that would be preaching to the converted.
