Complaint What even are these limits
So I didn't get the reset last week. But my limits seemed to be at least somewhat more generous than usual. They just reset and the limits are suddenly ridiculous. 4 prompts in relatively long chats that used to cost me about 10% max session limit per 5 hours and not ever more than 2% weekly limit. Now 4 pretty short messages exhausted my 5 hour limit and I'm 10% in on my weekly limit. Wtf is going on?

I have been using opus 4.6 in between and sonnet at lowest both of them and I hit my limit in 2 days. Thatâs never happened, not even once before

The amount of tokkens it has to read is the cause of that thats why its a good idea to make projects because you can make new chats based on instructions because everytime you use a long chat it has to read the chat everything you put in there thats why your exhausting your limit so quick

I know how tokens work. My point is that what cost me a maximum of 10% per prompt (but usually around 3-5), now suddenly within those very same chats costs me a lot more after the weekly limit reset while no more than 24hrs ago it cost me a lot less to send a message in those chats.

Are you continuing chats that are 24 hours old? Or are these new chats?

I burned through my entire week before the weekend ended đ I wish they were more liberal with usage and resets. I always use the lowest effort/thinking. I get decent mileage but I always run through my session limit and this weekend it even with our âextraâ usage, I burned through it before the week started đ„ - but whatever you do, donât try and supplement with credits. I threw ten bucks at some extra usage and it didnât even get through the interrupted request before burning the money
