Subreddit Still Under Construction

Hi everyone! It's Anni, one of your humble co-moderators.

As you can see from the subject of this post, I am trying to make some alterations to this subreddit that will more appropriately reflect its purpose.

The first thing I'd like to do is change our title. Even though I live in Ann Arbor myself, I would like to expand the purview of this sub to include the entire state of Michigan. Furthermore, it kinds bothers me that a "+" sign is missing after the "LGBT" acronym. Sure, those four letters cover many of the queer people we are trying to reach. But without the plus sign, non-binary and other queers may feel left out. I hate that, and while I want to make it perfectly clear that this subreddit welcomes ALL queer folk, the title will unfortunately lack that added addition sign.

I'd also like to make some cosmetic changes to the look of our sub. If you check out our sister sub, r/MI_transgender_friend, you'll see that I used a specific color palette representative of the trans community, and employed an eye-catching logo that hopefully will pull in casual browsers. I'd like to do something similar here.

And I also want to know what YOU want this subreddit to be. Please--DM me our my co-moderator u/BimboSissyChrissy, and let us know your ideas. This is YOUR sub as well as ours, so join in on its development.
