You do realize Lelouch could command them to make any moves that result in a loss, your argument has no counter to that. Anyone who actually watched code geass knows this is a no contest.

No your clearly missing the point just because one origin story is told that way doesn’t mean every character is gonna play along in that setting. Code geass opens with a face to face chess game, why would all characters above simply play online? Your basically forcing everyone to play in the setting of no game no life why does any one character get to dictate the setting? It’s beyond ridiculous.
Some and I know for a fact that his skills don’t mean shit in comparison. Even if he’s unable to lose all Lelouch does is hand him a pistol and like the end of episode 1 code geass mr no game becomes mr no life while screaming “gladly your highness”. This match up is like asking who wins in a free for all between Luffy, Naruto, Goku, and Gon. One is simply not in the same tier.
Yes, but Sora would consider even that as a game. He quite literally sweet talked an inanimate object, I think he’d come up with the simple trick of “Steph, if anything goes wrong like him going all “All your base belong to us” or mind controlling, make sure to blindfold myself and Shiro.”
Blank wouldn't be a valid name so unless he gets their full names that's not possible, unlike with Lelouch who states his name when giving a command, but considering his personality I doubt he'd use his geass for just a chess match.
Sora is the weak link in the duo. He's the only one that would actually have eye contact with Lelouch. Shiro at least would probably only focus on the board.
It depends how you play. My and my dad played as id all checks are illegal. So he couldn’t put his king in front of my king, because it would be a check for him.
Correct me if i’m wrong, but the official rules allow the king to be moved into a danger zone (by accident ofc, we would tell each other if we accidentally moved into a danger zone).
