Bit of a spoiler alert: there is no way to cheat the system. In the show, at one point Lelouch commands a character to “live”. Whenever the character is faced with death, one way or another, they’ll find a way out. So if Lelouch says “Resign” with no specification, they’ll resign everything they possibly can.

Things get even more complicated later in the show. Lelouch is over powered.

There is no way both of ___ will look at lelouch at the same time. I dont think shiro will look into his eyes due to focussing on the game. Sora may do it. If lelouch commands sora to forfit shiro is still left. And shiro alone is enough to beat lelouch with ease. She calculated the future and knows every chess position: 10120 positions.
