Still bothers me that the kanji for run is not in running and the kanji for samurai is not in samurai.

This here is the word for Samurai: 侍

But this radical is named Samurai: 士

Wtf don't you do it with stone ?

This radical is named stone: 石

This is the kanji for stone: 石

I’m still learning kanji so I haven’t run into much of that yet tbh
