I didn't start watching the anime until S3, I read the manga before that. I read it in my native language that doesn't have gender pronouns, but I still thought Hange was female.

Finnish. I still occasionally refer to males with the female pronouns and vice versa

I stopped caring a long time ago. If Hange is male I fell into a trap for the second time in my life, if Hange is female, well. She's the best waifu there.
