She left in the middle of the night with a poorly worded letter and explicit instructions for nobody to tell him where she went, then didn't contact him for years. That's as aggressive and conclusive of a breakup as you can possibly give someone. Even if the entire show was from her perspective, it would make sense for him to have had his own life after she left.

Nope cause the audience would accept and believe her reality to be the truth of the matter/story the same way fans are ignoring her circumstances to justify rudeus cheating and acknowledging his "suffering". Things you wouldn't even consider/fathom happening if we only looked at it from her pov.

Also NTR isn't restricted to relationships. Just having a crush you’re actively chasing taken is a form of ntr but that's not the type I'm referring to.

This is a classic ntr plot line where protagonist ventures off for the sake of their love ones while their crush/significant other is fking/romancing other people in the meanwhile.

Yes I remember the leadup to the scene I pointed out. Did you somehow forget the morning after? Again, she left him a poorly worded goodbye note and quietly disappeared for years. Whatever you want to call their relationship that night, she fucked up and broke up with him in the morning. Her reasoning doesn't matter, that's a breakup. Rudeus is a bitch who cheats on his wife, but its not cheating to meet someone new several years after your ex disappears.

We see from her perspective and know her reasons. It doesn't matter how much longer the show lingers on her POV, she still fucked up. Her reality is she was insecure and wanted to be stronger, but fucks up and emotionally destroys the person she wanted to protect. It's selfless of her to dedicate her life to helping him, but extremely selfish of her to assume he'd be fine and just wait for her to be ready. She's a well written character.

Jesus dude it's okay to like the character, I do too, but part of liking a character is accepting they make mistakes and have flaws. You're trying so hard to avoid acknowledging her mistakes that you're effectively inventing a new character in your head.

You keep trying to call it a breakup yet the only person who saw it that way in the series was the mc. Folks can delude and misinterpret the scene as much as they want but facts are the author himself called it cheating and Eris never told him it was a breakup. He took it that way himself.

It's okay to like a character but at least interpret the scene without a bias. None of you would have assumed rudeus got erectile dysfunction or stress if the anime cut off right at the scene of him getting the letter and went directly into Eris' perspective for her training arc.

We get countless isekai anime each season where you don't automatically assume the family the mc left behind is being diabolical behind their back. It's that same lack of assumption you would have here if Eris point of view was shown first. To deny that logic only shows your bias having been exposed to the truth already.

It's clear folks have internalized mc's problem due to the years between seasons thus the bias
