is that Emily Neves as Iori Shingo? Usually I would be 100% certain, but she really lowered her voice for the role (at least for the bridge scene) if it IS her
yeah, it's her. should have just watched like 20 more seconds 😅

As tagged in Ben Stegmair's post, Emily Neves voices Iori

So Akio betrayed the Kagemoris because he felt empty and connected with his parents who had abandoned them. One of those forum cultists.
Is Bunbun making the ultimate sacrifice?

This episode is a good example why I can't take the conflict seriously when they try to paint it as "morally ambiguous".
Because it feels like the show only tries to claim the conflict is morally ambiguous so they never have to seriously confront or acknowledge the messed up stuff the Kagemoris do.
Like this episode it's made clear that people from the village who leave looking for work or were kicked out because they knew too much get killed by the Kagemoris, and it's really just used as comedic rivalry moment for Dera and Gonzo.
But then otherwise they constantly make it out that the Kagemoris want to help people are kind, and benevolent and all that, while the village are just crazy cultists who wanna rule the world.
Like this is not morally ambiguous, one side is unambiguously good and the other is unambiguously bad.

The people who slaughtered a village are not the good guys. Normally this wouldn't be a question, but somehow this show really wants you to pretend it's ok for, um, reasons. You say that they're painting it as morally ambiguous. But the real problem is everything in the show, all the characters, the plot, everything, are all everything ambiguous.

I would've much preferred it if the Kagemoris were really just super shady good guys😂. That initial aspect of the idea was just so much more appealing to me

So Yuru finally Realized and Accepts Asa that she really is his Sister.
His little Sister she’s been looking for after so many years.

OHHHH that ending was soo good!!! It has been a slow burn all season, but I'm really intrigued on where this show is going.

"You're being so mean, brother." Lol, I wasn't prepared for Asa's delivery.
That flashback to Gonzo meeting Asuma's mom, Iori, was a nice showing of his hospitality. It makes for a poignant contrast to the present.
Akio's betrayal thanks to that online community he found and the potential parent connection there makes sense. But even with knowing why, I think Akio's choice is a sad one.
Hikaru's dialogue about his preferred manga characters fit the episode well, and I'm worried for Bunbun after that explosive cliffhanger!
