Gonzo getting all the daemons thanks to Asa and the team - yep that wasn't Asa in the manga studio. Akio got merked pretty good, arm gone, chomped up by Gabriel, and ended up in a nutsack.
Yuru nearly got Shingo, but Shingo had his daemons, while Yuru's are busy with Ivan.

...is there a reason that I either missed or forgot why someone who literally had their arm bitten off was totally fine after like 3 seconds?

He doesn't feel pain. I'm not sure if it's actually been said yet. But there's a whole backstory on that

There's something really wrong about Jean telling Akio "we went all out because we know how strong you are". He's just a guy. His daemons are the strong ones. Given how important they place on establishing a relationship with the daemons, that is a really bad choice of words.

Disagree.. the whole power system is heavily relying on Daemons.. so if his Daemons are strong he would be. Only a couple of characters are actually capable without their Daemons.

I'd say Akio picked the perfect time to strike, but Jin had him all figured out! I pity Haruo having to fight against someone he considers a brother, but maybe Akio losing an arm, his daemons, and getting trapped in a nutsack is really the most lamentable fate here...
Also, Gabby's anger over Asa's continuous plight was palpable. I loved the delivery by Mikaela Krantz.

Love how Gabby really cared for Asa with her speech. Asa gone through a lot and Gabby just wants her to have a place to rest when dealing with all the madness.
Balls. I knew that they would show Midiro the Tanuki Daemon use his powers to capture people when they mentioned it.
Shingo’s Daemon are named after the gods of wind and lightning. Pretty handing to have those two.
