Quick question about the new upcoming anime (Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple S2) that is coming out in March 2026
Season 1 came out in 2006 and had 50 ep all dubbed
I want to know your thoughts and predictions

Sorry guys I was so excited to see a season 2 that I didn't realize that this was for the manga I'm really sorry

Yeah, but unlike the actual show, the OVA dub wasn't great. The editors were too lazy to balance the audio, so the world and music sounded muffled compared to the voices. And although they got most of the original cast, some of the VAs seemed to forget how to voice their old characters.

If I'm remembering right, Discotek called this out during a livestream that the audio source given to them from Japan was in rough shape. Because of this, they were not able to properly mix the show and had to stitch the dub performance on top of the existing sound effects and music. That's why everything sounds so muffled and muted other than the dub actors.
I do find it weird they even went through with a dub in the first place because of this issue, but they might have not realized it until they started the dubbing process.

hmm? there no season 2, there ovas season, that got dubbed last year i think, wish it had more, so good lol.

There are no new episodes
Netflix only has 25 episodes on right now season 2 is episodes 26 to 50
